Francie Davis

Francie Davis is a member of the Millsboro Art League of Southern Delaware and recently began her photography career. She has always loved photography, with her favorite subject being nature. Her prints have been displayed as outstanding examples of photography at local businesses and the New York Institute of Photography website. Her photos were chosen for the 2011 Endless Mountains Visitor's Guide and Photographer's Edge Spring catalog. She has won multiple ribbons at both the 2010 and 2011 Delaware State Fair; including first place ribbons in 2010 for her magnificant sunset photo and a breathtaking black and white lilac print in 2011. Her lilac print has also won a first place ribbon at the Wicomico Farm and Home Show, part of the Wicomico County Fair in Maryland, as well as a second place ribbon for her Mother & Child deer photo. In the 2010 Everyman Photo Contest, her 'Family Outing' print was in the top selection of one of the judges. Just this year, 2011, her Pow Wow 1 was in the top ten of 4 judges, receiving an Honorable Mention and her Black and White Shells was in the top ten of one judge. She tied for First Place in the York Photo Facebook Contest with her stunning lilac print.
